The Locked Door by Freida McFadden is a chilling psychological thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat. Nora Davis has worked hard to escape her dark past—her father was a notorious serial killer who tortured his victims in their home. Now, decades later, she’s a skilled surgeon, living a quiet, isolated life, far from the horrors of her childhood.
But when young women begin to disappear in the same gruesome manner as her father’s victims, Nora’s carefully constructed world starts to unravel. Each new victim brings with it eerie reminders of her father's twisted methods, and the police are closing in on her. To make matters worse, she finds strange items in her home, evidence that someone might be watching her—or worse, framing her.

With spine-chilling twists, The Locked Door explores the thin line between nature and nurture, and how far someone will go to keep their darkest secrets locked away.
